This is to continue the discussion of the movement of thought, its purposes and the means through which thought moves and takes on the forms of its movements through the body of experience.
We are beings surrounded by form. There are the obvious forms of our bodies, the world we live in and everything that we can perceive either directly or indirectly. There is also the greater body of the cosmos which encompasses our being of which we are ultimately always at the center of. In a sense then wherever we move the universe moves with us and adjusts itself accordingly to our point of view. We can only look through our own eyes and hear through our own ears. It is in this looking and listening then that the keys to Consciousness in the Body are shown to be prime examples of the movement of thought.
Consider what happens when illness appears to strike us. What is the first thing that we do? We stop considering the outside world and pay attention to our internal feelings, which are accentuated by whatever pains or maladies are being reported to us. Why do we stop other than that we are forced to by illness? It is because our thoughts have to penetrate to our center in order to make everything better. We drink fluids to help our colds get better. We are trying to clear up our bodies so they can breathe again. The message here is that by our thoughts now move within as opposed to being focused upon what is external to our frame of reference. The reality of our self gets called into play and our focus returns to center upon that self. All healing takes place in this way. There are no exceptions. Every action of any medicine that we take is for the purpose of returning our focus to our internal state of well being. The more we are able to recognize this focus the less we will in fact need the medicine after a while. That is how awesome the power of internal focus is.
Wherever there is pain or illness focus consciousness there repeatedly in laser like fashion. Understand that your thoughts must return to their source in order to become refreshed by that source and that this act of renewal is subsequently the sum total of all of the operations of healing that are taking place.
Therefore Consciousness in the Body simply means that you are actively moving thought from outward appearance to become focused instead upon your inner state of being. You formulate thought shaping it to your needs in the case of illness by paying attention to your thoughts and recognizing where they need to be in the moment of your recognition.
Move thoughts by gentle yet insistent commanding suggestions. This is different from saying affirmations, which are effective in their own way. Your suggestions you see come from the place of certainty. They arise from the source that you are paying the utmost attention to in terms of recognizing the I AM that is the center of your being. The way you do this is perhaps the most amazing thought of all.
Consider that your Inner Voice has levels or dimensions to it. The more deeply you learn to focus this Inner Voice the better your results will be in terms of Consciousness in the Body all the way around. There is a secret here. Although I may point to this concept by writing about it you will have to experiment with it in order to make it your own. What I can say is that there is a center so deep that all other conceptions of time and space are but surface thoughts. What is great about this is that this adventure we call life just continues to expand with the possibilities of our internal connections. Out of these possibilities comes the ultimate goal which is complete union with I AM.
We continue to make progress and will do so endlessly. B"H.
