On August 17, 2014, the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention will be taking over the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center. With over 350 conventions staged, the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention is the longest running show of it’s kind in the United States.
This year the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention features Caity Lotz from the CW’s “Arrow” signing autographs, as well as “Ren and Stimpy” creator John Kricfalusi creating commissioned artwork for fans. Attendees will also be able to meet comic book artist Chuck Patton, whose work includes “Green Lantern”, and “Daredevil” comics among many others. Some of the other special guests include “Deadpool" artist Scott Koblish and the original “Vampirella” cover model Barbara Leigh.
Attendees will be given a chance to pick up the “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” poster while supplies last.
The Dealer Room promises to be filled with toys, action figures, comic books, Anime merchandise and so much more for sale. Anyone looking to sell their merchandise tables are still available to rent for the day.
The Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday August 17, 2014. Every attendee will receive a wristband that allows in and out access throughout the day, providing guests with the opportunity to grab a meal or run a quick errand during the day.
