Conrad Murray trial: UCLA COO Amir Dan Rubin testifies, talks Michael Jackson

The chief operating officer of UCLA Medical Center, Amir Dan Rubin testified yesterday in the Conrad Murray trial. Rubin was at UCLA when Michael Jackson was brought in. During his testimony yesterday in week five of the Murray trial, Amir Dan Rubin discussed the appearance of Murray, and how he looked after it was known that Michael Jackson had passed away. Defense attorney Ed Chernoff questioned him, and Rubin discussed various things.

A major point of Amir Dan Rubin's testimony yesterday was the fact that Rubin said that an ER doctor gave the news to Katherine Jackson that Michael Jackson had passed away. Followers of the Murray trial will recall that Conrad Murray said to the LAPD in his interview which was played in court, that it was he who told Katherine Jackson the news. Amir Rubin went on to explain that he was listening to the ER doctor tell Katherine Jackson the news.

Amir Rubin also mentioned that AEG CEO Randy Phillips was working on a press release with some other people in a conference room. Jermaine Jackson was also present, as testified by Rubin. He also stated that he saw Conrad Murray in the conference room.
