Fireworks will light the sky throughout the month of July. If you are out of town on the night of your town's show, a nearby town might be available the following day or weekend. Below is a list of Fourth of July fireworks alphabetically by town.

  • Bridgeport (Bluefish) - After the 7/3/13 Bluefish baseball game at Harbor Yard there will be fireworks.
  • Cheshire - Fireworks start at dusk at the high school on 6/29/13.
  • Danbury - View fireworks from the mall at dusk on 7/3/13.
  • East Haven - Cosey Beach is the location of the fireworks on 6/29/13 at 9pm. The address is 161 Cosey Beach Avenue.
  • East Lyme - Fireworks will shine over Niantic Bay starting at 9pm on 7/20/13.
  • Enfield - Fireworks are on 7/7/13 at 9:15pm.
  • Fairfield - Stop by Jennings Beach at 880 South Benson Road for free fireworks on 7/4/13. The show starts at 9:15pm. There is free parking at Jennings and Penfield beaches after 6pm.
  • Groton - Fireworks start at 9:20pm at Fort Griswold State Park and the Thames River on 7/13/13.
  • Guildford - Fireworks are on 7/13/13.
  • Lake Compounce (Bristol) - On 7/5/13 this amusement park will set off fireworks at 10pm. They are free with parking admission fee.
  • Manchester - On 7/6/13 activities start at 4pm including children activities, music, a barbecue, and Mohegan Sun all starts. Fireworks are at 9:30pm. The rain date is 7/7/13.
  • Meriden - From the top of Hubbard Park fireworks will light the sky on 7/4/13 at dusk.
  • Middletown - Fireworks will be held Wednesday, 7/3/13 at 9:30pm. Music and festivities will begin at 6pm that night.
  • Mohegan Sun (Uncasville) - On 7/25/13 the casino will host Fireworks Extravaganza. Their kid friendly activities begin at 5pm on top of the Riverview Garage. The 21 and over Tiki Bar is available for the adults. Fireworks will be featured at night.
  • Newington - Fireworks are on 7/20/13 at dusk at Mill Pond Park.
  • New Britain - From 5-9:15pm there will be pony rides, clowns, trampoline, games, music, and food. This free firework show will take place at Stanley Quarter Park located at 451 Blake Road.
  • New Canaan - At dusk on 7/4/13 the show will take place at Wavenly Park.
  • New Haven - Fireworks will brighten the skies of New Haven on 7/4/13 at 9:15pm. Festivities including music, food, and free horse drawn carriages will take place starting at 4pm at Summit at East Rock. The address is 41 Cold Spring Street. Parking is $5.
  • New London - Sailfest is held 7/12-7/14/13 this year. Their firework display will be on 7/13/13 at 9pm.
  • Orange - Orange Fairgrounds will host fireworks on 8/2/13 and 8/3/13 at 10:30pm.
  • Oxford - Fireworks are on 7/7/13 at 9:45pm located at Great Oak School.
  • Poartland - What a view over the Portland Fairgrounds. The show starts at dusk on 7/13/13.
  • Quassy - The amusement park will have their own 3D fireworks display after dark on 7/4/13. Parking is $7. Glasses are $1.
  • Riverfest - Water shows, a lumberjack competition, kids activities, and food draws crowds every year for Riverfest. This year on 7/6/13 the fun starts at 4pm. The two locations are the Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in Hartford and the Great River Park in East Hartford. Fireworks are at 9pm. No backpack are allowed.
  • Salisbury - Lime Rock Park hosts the fireworks on 7/6/13 at dusk.
  • Shelton - On 7/3/13 at dusk look for the fireworks over the Housatonic River. Come early for parking.
  • Stratford - Short Beach Park will host the fireworks on 7/3/13 at 9"30pm.
  • Trumbull - On 6/29/13 fireworks will be fired off at the high and middle school at dusk.
  • Unionville - Unionville School hosts the fireworks on 7/12/13 at 9:30pm.
  • Vernon - From 6-10pm Henry Park will have free activities on 7/2/13. Fireworks will take place at 9:40pm.
  • Wallingford - Sheehan High School and Highland Elementary School has the most up close views of the fireworks however finding a high location throughout the town is great too. The shows starts at 9:30pm on 7/6/13.
  • Warren - Stop by Lake Waramaugs Park on 7/4/13 at 9:30pm.
  • Waterbury - Municipal Stadium hosts the fireworks on 7/4/13 at 9:15pm. Parking and views are also available on surrounding streets.
  • Westbrook - See the fireworks on 7/2/13 at 9:30pm from multiple locations: Water's Edge, Wren Park, West Beach, and the town hall.
  • Westport - Fireworks are at dusk at the Westport Compo Beach on 7/3/13.
  • West Haven - Head towards the beach for the fireworks! The show starts at dusk on 7/3/13 at Bradley Point.
  • Windsor Locks - Fireworks are on 7/12/13 at 9:30pm at Veteran's Memorial Park.
