The official, and final, report from the Connecticut State Police on Adam Lanza’s shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, where 20 first graders and six school staffers were violently murdered in Newtown, Conn., is scheduled for release on Dec. 27.

The report will include a battery of documents tied to the Connecticut State Police’s investigations surrounding Lanza’s shootings at the elementary school, including several thousand pages that have "been redacted according to law,” according to MSN.

The horrific and heart breaking tragedy took place just over a year ago on Dec. 14, 2012.

The report from the Conn. State Police, which signals the official end to their investigation into the shootings, is scheduled to be released at 3 p.m. today.

… the material would include text, photos and emergency 911 calls received by state police on the day of the massacre.

Just last month, the Conn. Division of Criminal Justice released its “State’s Attorney’s Report on Sandy Hook Elementary School Shootings” that revealed some of the troubling aspects surrounding the life of shooter Adam Lanza.

The State Attorney’s Report also concluded that that Lanza acted alone in the shootings, and that a clear cut motive for his actions may never be known.

Anticipating a frenzy of media coverage in Newtown, John Reed, acting superintendent of Newtown public schools, alerted parents in the school system via email about the impending release of the report.

"Like you, I have not seen the materials but I suspect for some persons, the contents will be an emotional trigger," he wrote, suggesting that parents might avail themselves of information from the National Trauma Stress Network.
