Five Connecticut children are missing today in two separate cases. Three of the children are from Watertown and their mother is also missing, the other two missing kids are from Torrington and they were last seen with an aunt, according to CBS Connecticut News, Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.
A Silver Alert has been issued for the mother and three children missing from Watertown, according to the Hartford Courant today. A Silver Alert is often used for seniors with Alzheimer's, but it is also used for people who suffer from other cognitive disorders and mental illness, according to The National Silver Alert.org.
The Watertown kids were last seen with their mother, Karen Dubrosky, 36, who is also listed as missing today. Dubrosky is believed to be with her children Noelle Brown, 3, Andrew Brown, 5, and Owen Brown 6.
Torrington Police are looking for siblings who were last seen with their aunt, Jennifer Wheeler on Wednesday. Savannah Sturz, 3, and her sister Ariana Sturz, 5, are believed to be traveling in a 1996 Blue Chevy pickup with Connecticut license plate 3514CJ.
Anyone with information about the Brown or Struz children are asked to contact police.
