South American qualifiers are set to resume in November and Argentina had two bits of news confirmed as they look to right the ship after their loss to Venezuela last time around.
The Albiceleste will play Bolivia in Buenos Aires instead of Córdoba on November 11th. The match was being speculated to move to the Estadio Mario Kempes, but that venue was not certified by FIFA although it did hold matches from the last edition of the Copa América.
Part of the reason for that talk to begin was mostly due to the poor attendance in the match agaisnt Chile. In order to attract more fans, tickets were reduced. This will also favor the large Bolivian community living in the Buenos Aires area as well as in neighboring states.
The main bit of bad news was the fact that CONMEBOL did not budge in their stance about changing the match scheduled for 4pm local time on November 15th in Barranquilla against Colombia. Argentina were looking to cahnge the time mostly in an effort to avoid the heat of Atlantic coast where temperatures can go up as high as 94 degrees (34 celsius) in November.
This was one of the biggest points of contentions by coach Alejandro Sabella after the loss to Venezuela as he attributed the loss to the Vinotinto to "heat, humidity and fatigue".
