Earlier today, Congressman Tim Griffin announced that he would not seek reelection for the Arkansas 2nd Congressional District for 2014. In the effort to fight against illegal immigration, Congressman Tim Griffin has had an overall decent record. NumbersUSA.com gives Representative Griffin a B-. Most conservatives would give him a B in regards to illegal immigration due to some disagreements with numbersusa regarding E-Verify & other issues.
Filing to run for office takes place in February 2014. Representative Griffin hasn't endorsed a replacement candidate. Nor has a democrat emerged to take the lead to represent the Arkansas 2nd Congressional District. The Arkansas Libertarian Party recently turned in signatures to appear on the 2014 ballot and usually has a candidate for the 2nd Congressional District. Whoever runs to replace Representative Tim Griffin would best represent the Arkansas 2nd Congressional District by taking a strong stance against illegal immigration. Demand every politician or candidate state that they oppose any path to legal status amnesty from deportation.
