Congressman Aaron Schock reveals his inner athlete on the cover of Men's Health

Congressman Aaron Schock isn't your typical politician.  The 29-year-old Member of the Illinois House of Representatives has been hiding six-pack abs under his tailored suits.  Appearing for the first time on the cover of the latest issue of "Men's Health," Schock is revealing more than an unbelievable set of washboard abs.

The magazine refers to Representative Aaron Schock as "America's Fittest Congressman."  The cover photo shows a man who more closely resembles a fitness model than a member of the U.S. Congress.  However, there is more to the man than just a mind for politics and a body for the pages of men's fitness magazines.  Schock wants to inspire Americans to become more fit and active; he certainly sets a fine example.

Congressman Aaron Schock revealed his own fitness regime in the pages of "Men's Health," along with some revealing shirtless photos showing the results of his hard work.  According to the magazine, Schock's early morning workout routine includes 5-7 days per week of the following activities: a 60-to 75-minute P90X training session; a 60-to 75-minute weight routine, focusing on high-weight, low-rep exercises, and alternating upper-and lower-body days; 3 sets of 30 pushups and 30 situps; plus a run (5 miles) or swim (1 mile).
