Addition of special biking lanes has city on group's bicycle-friendly list
ALBANY — The city's efforts to become more bicycle-friendly drew notice from a national bicyclist group at nearly the same time a New York City study found that a special lane just for bikes was definitely business-friendly.
Albany was one of 33 U.S. cities to receive honorable mentions from the League of American Bicyclists this fall, joining New York and Rochester, which were already on the league's list with higher silver and bronze rankings respectively."
