In a celebration of the music and culture of the African diaspora as well as the cultural diversity of New Orleans, the seventh annual Congo Square New World Rhythms Festival is coming up next month.

And once again the Jazz & Heritage Festival & Foundation has put together a program just bursting with music, dance, food, and an arts and crafts market. Come out to watch the annual "battle" of Mardi Gras Indian tribes and the Class Got Brass competition, and both days of the fest will begin with drum circles that are open to join.
