Conflicting reports on DNA test on Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child

TMZ.com just released a conflicting report concerning DNA tests and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child.

According to TMZ.com, a DNA test was never conducted to determine the paternity of the boy Arnold Schwarzenegger admits fathering with his housekeeper, Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena 13 years ago.

TMZ.com states that they were informed by multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation that Schwarzenegger never demanded a DNA test, nor did Patty Baena make any effort to establish her son’s paternity through DNA.

Radar Online Reports that A DNA Test Was Done

Today’s report from TMZ.com is in direct conflict with a report last week from Radar Online which claims that in a joint investigation with Star Magazine, they learned from a close friend of Patty Baena that she proved Schwarzenegger was the father of her son by arranging a secret DNA test.

According to Radar Online, their source told them, “Arnold knew all along that (the boy) was his child. But Mildred insisted on a DNA test – and it proved that Arnold was the father.”

The friend further stated that Schwarzenegger, desperately trying to keep his love child a secret, was in a tough spot and gave in to Patty Baena’s demand.

Was There a DNA Test or Not?

Was there or wasn’t there a DNA test done to establish the paternity of Schwarzenegger’s love child?

Both reports claim to be based on information from sources knowledgeable about the situation, yet they are in direct opposition to each other.

TMZ.com further states that Schwarzenegger was certain the boy was his based on the following two facts:

Rogelio Baena, Patty Baena's husband, was out of the country when the boy was conceived. He returned to the United States just days before the boy was born.

By the time the boy was a toddler, it was "physically obvious" that Schwarzenegger was his dad. Members of the Schwarzenegger household staff often confused Schwarzenegger’s love child with Christopher, Schwarzenegger’s and Maria Shriver’s youngest son. (The boys were born only 5 days apart.)

Reports that Schwarzenegger’s Love Child Looks Just Like Him

People who have seen Schwarzenegger’s love child in person say the boy is the spitting image of his famous dad.

Controversy Surrounding the Paternity of Schwarzenegger Love Child

Adding to the controversy surrounding the paternity of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child are the following facts:

An ex-nanny for the Schwarzenegger household told TMZ.com that many employees noticed the resemblance between Patty's son, and Maria Shriver and Schwarzenegger’s son. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Jorge Pena, Patty’s 28 year old nephew said the boy was obsessed with Terminator 2 and the family would tease him about being Schwarzenegger’s son because they looked so much alike, but that it was just a family joke. Pena said that although they joked with Patty’s son about Schwarzenegger being his dad, they took it for granted that Rogelio was the father because Rogelio has family members with blond hair and blue eyes. Click here to see pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child.

Patty Baena did not tell Schwarzenegger he was the boy’s father until the boy was a toddler.

Patty’s Baena’s husband, Rogelio Baena, is listed on the boy’s birth certificate as his father. But the divorce petition Patty filed in 2008 states that she and Rogelio had no children during their marriage. (Schwarzenegger’s love child was born in October 1997.)

In an interview on Entertainment Tonight, Rogelio stated that thought Schwarzenegger’s love child was his son. Patty insists that Rogelio knew he was not.

Some of the information above may raise serious questions about the paternity of Schwarzenegger’s love child, if a DNA test was never done.

If a DNA test was done, the points above are merely interesting facts.

With conflicting reports from two major celebrity gossip news sources - TMZ.com andRadar Online - it’s hard to determine which one to believe.
