The rumor mills are churning with the exciting news that the Disney Wonder may be returning to Hawaii in September, 2015.
According to the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, the Disney Wonder is scheduled to return to Hawaii in 2015. According to the schedule, (originally reported by the Disney Cruise Line blog) the Disney Wonder is set to arrive in Honolulu on September 17, 2015. Current updated reports from the Hawaii harbor government, the Disney Wonder is no longer on the 2015 schedule.
As we all know, schedules are always subject to change and Disney Cruise Line has yet to make an official announcement regarding cruise itineraries beyond April, 2015.
I was on the inaugural voyage for the Hawaii cruise back in 2012 and it was the experience of a lifetime.
A return to Hawaii would be beneficial for the West Coast customers who are missing the convenience and cost effectiveness of having ships in their home ports. It would also allow guests the ability to visit Aulani, the 21 acres of magnificent beach front property in Ko'Olina Resort Community in Hawaii.
Currently, Aulani is offering guests a choice of two limited time offers:
- Purchase a minimum 4-night stay in a 1-2 bedroom villa at Aulani and enjoy a $500 resort credit, or receive a $400 resort credit when you stay in a deluxe studio or hotel room. Offer valid for bookings through March 31, 2014 for stays most nights April 23 through June 16, 2014
- Purchase a minimum 4-night stay at Aulani and get the 4th night free-including daily breakfast for two adults at the new Ulu Cafe. Book by March 1, 2014 for stays most nights Jan. 5-April 7, 2014.
