BREAKING NEWS : Fugitive Ex-Cop Christopher Dorner has been positively ID'd and is confirmed dead.

Medical examiners have obtained Christopher Dorner's dental records from the Navy and a comparison with the charred set of human remains recovered from his cabin hideout has resulted in a positive identification.

The LAPD has continued it's protective details on the 40 persons named as targets in Dorner's 6,000 manifesto as a precaution until they were certain that the body recovered from the burned cabin was indeed the fugitive ex-cop. Now that the positive ID has been made, the increased security can be withdrawn.
