Confirmed: Affirmative Action killed 14 people at Ft. Hood

The military investigation into the Ft. Hood terrorist attack has concluded what the rest of us already knew--that Major Nidal Malik Hasan was allowed to regularly violate his oath and openly promote subversive Islamic extremism since 2005...to protect "diversity."

The Boston Globe:

WASHINGTON - Army superiors were warned about the radicalization of Major Nidal Malik Hasan years before he allegedly massacred 13 soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, but did not act in part because they valued the rare diversity of having a Muslim psychiatrist, military investigators wrote in previously undisclosed reports.

An obvious “problem child’’ spouting extremist views, Hasan made numerous statements that were not protected by the First Amendment and were grounds for discharge by violating his military oath, investigators found.

Examples of Hasan’s radical behavior have previously been disclosed in press accounts based on interviews with unnamed Army officials, including his defense of suicide bombings and assertions that Islamic law took priority over his allegiance to the United States.

This should come as no surprise to the American people, who have resoundingly rejected the left's weak spin on Ft. Hood from the beginning (see here). As I have noted, the left's absurd politically-correct policies (along with Obama's non-stop undermining of national defense)  are already well on their way to causing the next 9/11.

Well Thank you Captain Obvious for the ''findings''. We knew that within the first 24 hrs. of the shooting. The first time I heard Gen. Casey state that ''diversity'' is our strength I wanted to put my foot through the TV. Heads should roll, starting at the top of the food chain.

Agreed. But now, it's not a matter of opinion and/or speculation. There is an official report to point to confirming this insanity.

Are they going to reach the conclusion that this was the first successful terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11?

  • Andy 2 years ago

I see the Globe refuses to count the unborn child in the deaths Hasan caused. Hasn't he been charged in that death, also?

it's outrageous. just like the airport security. they don't want to racially profile the bearded muslim men, but they do searches on senior citizens instead? i'm sorry, but if it looks like a fish and smells like a fish, then it's definitely a militant muslim that should be taken care of immediately (squashed! to put it nicely).

There is a parallel phenomenon here. Becasue Affirmative Action, racial diversity and the deadly premises of subjective relativism also put an inexperienced, disloyal communist/muslim symapthizer in the oval office merely to satisfy our mutual frenzy to demonstrate that we are colorblind. Dr. King is rolling over in his grave.

This is a perfect example of how this country is being destroyed by the insane idea that promoting diversity at any cost and using the concept of political correctness as a defense is going to make us better people. Stan's comment above is absolutely right on the mark; "Dr. King is rolling over in his grave". This is not what he intended.

Every move he makes, every step he takes, every breath he takes is designed to attempt to destroy our great country! Obama will
    fail!
Now lets see what kind of flowers Obama tries to put on this militant Muslim. Lets see what heads roll for covering up for
    this slime ball.

Don't forget to call your Congressman and Senator's and tell them
to oppose the Obama health care bill he is going to propose in the summit meeting he is going to have in a couple of days! He
is up to (what now can be called) his OLD treaks. Nothing new,
just the same OLD lies! They just don't get it!

This affirmative action platform that has been shoved down our throats like castor oil, reached the point quite some time ago of causing regurgitative reactions that are not acceptable in public or in private. We need to find some way to stop this virus that has gained a foothold in our country and put down roots in every area of our society, before we become so numb to any awareness of the presence of this poison that it completely obliterates our way of life.

Though I don't disagree that something should've been done to get Hasan out of there, the article goes on to say that Hasan's supervisors "explicitly mentioned" his "potential to inform our understanding of Islamic culture and how it relates to the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan." It appears that their reasoning was less about "affirmative action" and more about using him as an asset in the War on Terror.

  • Robert Moon 2 years ago

Imagine that. The supervisors who ignored sign after sign and got 14 people killed are now claiming that their Affirmative Action approach was about his potential USEFULNESS as a learning tool...even though every time he was allowed to speak to anyone about anything, he had to be shut down to stop him from blatantly propagandizing for terrorists, as the article also explains.

Kudos once again to Robert Moon. His intrepid reporting has shed light onto the nether-regions of America's unabashedly politically correct culture. Samantha Roeper-Miller--a brilliant colleague of mine at the University of Michigan--has written extensively about this sordid area, which she has termed the "t'aint."

For those unenlightened, the gist of Ms. Roeper-Miller's research reveals that Americans ALWAYS value gun rights and tax cuts for carnival workers over the "t'aint," which she defines as the "soft, fleshy bridge between the scrotum and the anus."

It is axiomatic that the acceptance of this "t'aint" is dangerous to the American public, and does nothing but embolden our foreign aggressors.

For further reading on the matter, I wholeheartedly recommend W. Calvin Field's book "The United States, al Qaeda, and the T'aint: Fleshy Bridge of Doom" and Maureen Vauvillard's essay "Rumsfeld, Cheney, Ashcroft and the Lure of the T'aint."

    Keep fighting the good fight,

Ahhhh, political correctness! When are we going to wake up???

It is shameful how the racists will use any excuse to attack affirmative action. This terrorist attack is further evidence that elements within our government REFUSE to put 2 and 2 together, just as they failed to stop the 9-11 attacks, they are suspiciously unable to prevent terrorist attacks today. They use these types of attacks as excuses to take away our rights to privacy, and that is why these obvious attacks continue.
