On Saturday, June 14, the Condo & HOA Council will be hosting a lunch and learn on hurricane preparedness from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at The Arts Garage, located at 180 NE 1st Street in Delray Beach.

Originally named the Condo Council and founded by local attorney, Mark Bogen, the Condo and HOA Council is an organization that serves as a resource for Board Members of all associations by providing information, solutions and answers to everyday issues. Membership is free.

The event will include a mini trade show and networking opportunities, a discussion of Hurricane Preparedness for your community, an opportunity to get insurance coverage questions answered, as well as a landscaping pest discussion. There will also be live entertainment!

All attendees will be served a complimentary lunch along with a great program discussing topics that affect association board members. For more information, and to RSVP for the event, please click here. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today.

Be sure to subscribe to this column, and stay abreast of issues involving you, the homeowners of Palm Beach County, and join in on the discussion on twitter. If you've had any issues with your HOA that you'd like me to try and delve into, and possibly write about later, please let me know. While you’re at it, please read my articles about local getaways, motorsports, elections, and restaurants.
