Concordia update: Italians release updated dead/missing names

Nineteen days after the cruise ship Costa Concordia crashed onto the rocks off the isalnd of Giglio, near Italy, Italian officials have finally released a list of the confirmed dead and missing.  This comes one day after divers gave up searching for additional bodies in the wreckage due to weather and changing tides.

There are 17 confirmed dead, and 15 missing and presumed dead.  Those not marked as crew were passengers on the ship.

In a related story, relatives of the only missing US citizens announced today they'll hold a memorial service.

The Star Tribune reported that the family of Gerald and Barbara Heil, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota will plan a memorial soon.

In a blog posting, the family wrote that "we are certainly disheartened... but understand and accept the decision to bring the search operation to a halt".
