The first place Concordia Lady Tornados (15-3 ASC 13-2) will travel to Alpine, Texas to face the Sul Ross State Lobos (2-17 ASC 1-14). The Tornados will look to stay in first place. They currently have a one game lead over Howard Payne in the American Southwest Conference.
The Tornados currently are on a three game winning streak and looking to keep the momentum heading into the conference tournament.
The Tornados are led by Shamika Singleton who is averaging 11.8 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game. Lashanda Luckey is averaging 11 points per game for the Tornados.
The Lobos will be led by Krista Ford. Ford is averaging 18.1 points per game. Ford has been one of few bright spots for the Lobos this season.
The Lobos hope to upset the Tornados as the basketball season quickly comes to a close. The game will tip off at 5:30 CST on February 2.
