Concert to benefit Joplin Children's Miracle Network Hospital

The devastating tornado that hit Joplin on May 22, 2011 has affected most members of the community, including many area children. On Sunday, June 19, 2011, Downstream Casino & Resort will host, "Musicians for Miracles", a concert event to benefit the local Children's Miracle Network. The event will feature door prizes, raffles, and auction items as well as a "Kids Corner" - arts and crafts provided by Michaels Arts & Crafts of Joplin.

Musicians slated for this event are:

  • Bykota
  • Strong 68
  • Beneath the Surface
  • Project Soul
  • The Retro Rockerz
  • Sarah Dunn & Sundown
  • Six Guns South
  • The Vinyl Kingz

Doors open at 1:00 p.m. with music starting at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Children under 12 are free.
