According to a report by Polygon on Mar. 6, 2013, Japanese magazine "Famitsu" leaked some news about a upcoming sequel to one of the most strangest video game titles out there, "Conception: Please Give Birth to My Child." The first game was released back in April of last year on the PSP and featured the gameplay aspects of a dating simulator and RPG combined.
The main character, Itsuki is charged with having to raise the affection levels of girls from Granvania National Star God Academy. In doing so, the offspring that are produced are called "Star Children." Itsuki must mix and match with different girls producing more powerful "Star Children" granting different stats with each combination. As the children are collected, Itsuki must explore the game's dungeons and battle "Impurities," the antagonists of the story. The RPG was a commercial success in Japan and received high enough reviews and sales to usher in a new sequel.
"The world's been fully updated, and the sheer volume behind the scenario far outclasses the previous game," says producer, Yuichiro Saito. The soon-to-be arriving sequel will find its home on the "Nintendo 3DS" and "PS Vita" featuring more story and much more characters for Itsuki to interact with. Although no official release date has been announced, the RPG is scheduled to arrive some time this Summer in Japan.
