I’m one of Conan O’Brien’s biggest fans. As you can imagine, I was sad to see him leave the Tonight Show and I’m concerned about what’s next to come for Conan. Is there anything in his chart to indicate what may happen next in his career? Also, is there anything to indicate what really prompted his exit on the Tonight Show?

The first indicator of what may be next to come in Conan’s career is Neptune in the Third House. Expect Conan to do a great deal of writing in the next several months.
With the Moon in Aquarius, we know that Conan is a true American. He believes wholeheartedly in freedom of speech and one’s rights to their own personal work. Unfortunately, the Moon is opposition Mars and semi-square Jupiter in his chart. This is typically indicative of career conflict, specifically in the realm of lack of support from those higher in authority. The Moon is additionally square Neptune, further suggesting a lack of support from those in charge at NBC. This also suggests Conan was given the opportunity to meet NBC’s demands halfway; however, this would have been at the expense of his personal ideals and perhaps future aspirations.
The placement of Saturn in Aquarius is generally found in charts of individuals who have a knack for smelling rats amongst those involved in big business. He may decide to stem away from large organizations such as NBC and take more of a Larry David approach to future successes; however, another large network contract may be inevitable.
Venus is found in Pisces in the Seventh House. With this we know Conan has great intuition and is learning better, as time goes on, to trust his intuition. He is highly imaginative, creative, and musically inclined. This also suggests he is willing to step back from the limelight and work behind the scenes for awhile. The pen is already back to the paper. Venus is also semi-sextile Saturn, letting us know Conan’s work comes from the heart and is something he is most proud of.
Jupiter is another planet with aspects containing insight to Conan’s shocking career change. Because Jupiter is found in Aries, we know his sense of pride concerning his work is accompanied by a bravery pushing him to protect his accomplishments. This sometimes leads to rash actions or decisions.
The Sun in Aries further supports that Conan’s decision to leave the Tonight Show may have indeed been a bit impulsive; however, he’s a man of action and is already working on future endeavors. The Ninth House placement of the sun speaks of Conan’s core character. He appreciates uprightness and integrity within others more than what materials they may have to offer. The Sun is additionally desquiquadrate Pluto, indicating, again, conflicts with those of greater authority and power.
Mars speaks a great deal of what’s in store for Conan’s future career. With Mars found in Leo, we know Conan will again take a leading role, offering the public clever and unusual comic relief via television. With Mars trine Jupiter, his new endeavors will be a success with the public. Mars semi-sextile Pluto suggests Conan took into consideration his role as an exemplar for many fans and viewers in making the decision to leave NBC. According to his chart, this motivation will resonate with others and make a difference for the better.
Uranus in Virgo is the placement delivering positive news to dedicated Conan fans. Not only does Conan place his heart into his work, he also loves to work. Without a doubt, Conan will make a return debut for countless fans to laugh with--or at, depending on your preference.
