Conan O'Brien's appearance on "60 Minutes" won't air until this Sunday, but we are already getting a preview of some of what the late-night comedian has to say. According to Entertainment Weekly, Coco had this to say to Steve Kroft about why he chose to say goodbye to NBC rather than take a show following Jay Leno:

“I think this relationship is going to be toxic and maybe we just need to go our separate ways. That’s really how it felt to me…and I started to feel that I’m not sure these people even really want me here….I can’t do it [anymore].”

Coco was also asked on if he would have made the same decision as Jay if he was in his shoes:

“I know me, I wouldn’t have done that. If I had surrendered 'The Tonight Show' and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well…and then…six months later. But that’s me, you know. Everyone’s got their own, you know, way of doing things.”

Conan's full interview will air this Sunday -- literally the first day he is allowed to speak out publicly.
