The company’s owner, Catherine Perez, has been spearheading the business and overseeing the bread artisans at work for almost 15 years. The clientele ranges from those stopping by to pick up fresh bread in the morning to nearby employees seeking a hearty and high-quality lunch. Everything is made-to-order, so be prepared for the fresh approach to take a bit longer than a routine lunch break.
Business at Con Pane is booming. On the weekend enjoy lunch at Con Pane and then spend an afternoon sailing in the inevitable San Diego sunshine. They do not have a website but visit their Facebook fan page to read about specials and new menu offerings. The eatery is now located in Liberty Station, situated just a few blocks from their old location in a bigger venue with plenty of parking.
