Pyne, 23, was recently sentenced to 20-60 years in prison after being found guilty of second degree murder of his mother, Ruth Pyne.
A former honor student from the University of Michigan-Flint, Jeffrey Pyne continues to maintain his innocence. His family, friends and community support him.
An appeal is in process.

So far, I have written over 30 stories about the case. There will definitely be more stories as the appeal makes its way through the system.
In addition, since the trial I have found out more information about the case and the evidence that didn't make its way to court. I hope to write about some of this evidence as the appeal progresses.
