Christmas is a time of joy and giving for many of us, but not everyone is so fortunate. Cue the swelling "feel-good" music as local Los Angeles charity Compassion Through Action ("CTA") presents a charity concert to raise funds and awareness in support of its mission to aid the homeless of Los Angeles.
The show will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. The suggested donation of $30 is a small price to pay for an evening of celebrating the season with local indie musicians and other compassionate individuals, and will go a long way in helping CTA achieve its mission. The concert will be held at Fonogenic Studios, a beautiful performance space and recording facility owned by Ran Pink and Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers/Foo Fighters), located at 7710 Haskell Avenue, Van Nuys, California 91406.
Chef Frank and his mobile wood fire oven will be serving up individual gourmet pizzas with proceeds going to CTA.
