On Thursday, February 27th, Companion Habitats, a leading commercial grade pet habitat manufacturer, will be launching a new social media campaign entitled, “Companion Habitats Cares.” They are doing so in effort to help get more pets adopted quicker.
Companion Habitats has 27 years of experience in the animal care industry, a wealth of understanding of the issues that animal housing can create, thus they believe that this campaign will help invite pet store owners and shelter/rescue personnel by offering them an opportunity to enter to win one of Companion Habitats’ new Kitty Corrals. One will be given away to a participating pet store and one will be given away to a participating shelter or rescue organization.
The innovative enclosure expands to a large 5’ x 7’ area when in use, but collapses to a mere 13” deep when not being used. The enclosure is designed to provide extra temporary space for housing pets, and to promote the interaction between orphaned pets and potential pet parents. Besides this social media campaign, Companion Habitats will also be promoting the giveaway at the upcoming Global Pet Expo that will take place March 12th through the 14th in Orlando, Florida. If you will be attending the Expo, make sure to stop by Booth #3391 to view the Kitty Corral in action!
The actual campaign will begin with the social media launch this coming Thursday, February 27th and run through Wednesday, March 19th. It will also be heavily promoted within Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. To enter, pet store owners and shelter managers can simply visit the Companion Habitats Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CompanionHabitats), click on the giveaway tab, provide their contact information, and be entered to win one of Companion Habitats’ Kitty Corrals for their store or non-profit.
Since six to eight million cats and dogs enter the shelter/rescue system and only three to four million cats and dogs get adopted each year, this campaign will help provide much-needed assistance to facilities to help these pets get adopted. “This is one way we can assist a pet store and a shelter/rescue in their pet adoption efforts, and further our commitment to pet adoption and helping pets find their loving, forever home more quickly and easily,” shared Rob Lowe, Vice President of Sales at Companion Habitats.“
