Since California has decided to declare a full-blown economic war on Arizona for daring to expect immigrants to follow rules, the rest of us who support the rule of law are left with no choice but to come to Arizona's defense.
As I have noted, we can do this by planning trips to Arizona (Grand Canyon, O.K. Corral, etc.) and by buying Arizona-based products. But we can also take the next logical step and boycott California.
This means no trips to California, no purchasing California-based products and particularly emphasizing a boycott on products from San Francisco, which always leads the charge in stabbing this country in the back and has dishonestly race-baited this issue more than any other city.
We'll see whether the left's welfare recipients and under-achieving parasites can keep up with patriots who actually work for a living and care about their country.
Below is a list of some common household-name companies based in California.

I was trying to stick to companies that are easy to boycott. California has pretty much cornered the market on Internet companies, for instance, so it is impractical to expect people to boycott all Internet companies.
But you're right. As that Wikipedia link shows, there are many, other major companies in California.
This should really prove a point. I thought California's boycott was silly. I think this is a call to shoot ourselves in the foot. These are big companies that employee a lot of people and trying to destroy them is a bigger consequences to working Americans than any policy protest. These California based companies employee thousand throughout the entire United States. This is short sighted and damaging to the very Americans you profess to speak for.
Where are the online letters to send to these companies, telling them we won't be buying their products, bec of the action of California to boycott Arizona?
Without such letters to these companies, this is like smiling at a pretty lady in the dark: Only you know you are doing it.
I think I like Rush's idea better-one way bus tickets for all illegal criminal aliens to San Francisco, so they can suck off Gavin Newsome and those nutbag libs in that sanctuary city. Exhaust their resources and force SF loonies to deal with accelerated crime rates due to the infiltration. As a business owner, I would not want to be boycotted because of a bunch of idiot hacks just b/c of the location of my business. Psalm 37-pray for out nation, we have been invaded.
Yet anothe rreason to dislike Kalifoornee-a and not go there any time soon. I'll tell my wife's relatives to come East for a visit, instead, and get their money HERE!
I'm a Conservative. This idea is just plain stupid. First, you're going to hurt PRIVATE COMPANIES who have nothing to do with the state or city governments. Well, you won't, because you're stupid and no one is going to listen to this nonsense.
Next, if this stupid boycott takes off, it will cause more people to lose their jobs in a state that's already hurting financially. NONE OF THIS WILL HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE LIBERAL GOVERNMENTS IN CALIFORNIA, IDIOT!
Nice thinking, Einstein.
Paul: "Where are the online letters to send to these companies, telling them we won't be buying their products, bec of the action of California to boycott Arizona?"
Getting contact information for all these companies is going to take a while. Stand by.
Lucas,
You're right. Boycotting companies to punish governments is incredibly stupid. But it does apply pressure and it's not just a handful of liberals doing this to Arizona...it's entire state governments.
This is a serious, coordinated attempt to injure and damage another state's economy.
Sitting back and doing nothing just because it's stupid isn't an option. If we don't want other states to be bullied into submission by these thug tactics, they have to be confronted and turned back against those using them.
Ig: "These are big companies that employee a lot of people"
Right. No one is suggesting that people stop spending money...just that they redirect their spending from California-based companies to Arizona-based companies.
I live in CA and love this boycott of SF based companies, but there are a few on this list in the CONSERVATIVE central valley that would add to our already 20% unemployment rate...But screw SF
Robert, you are always on top of the issues and express them so succinctly. thanks
This man should travel and see how the real world works. He should open his mind, his eyes and his ears. It is like boycotting French wine and French cheese, he should think a bit further and also boycot French Music, like this USA will never hear anymore "My Way" as this is originally a French Song. Is that the way people want to see the world working? Don't forget that a boycott is a first step before the war, experience being there here in Europe both ancient and even very recent on the scale of teh Amercian History.
Jack - A french man against anything form of useless war, hostility, hatred racism, boycot and othe r censorship. All you need is Love and Give peace a chance ;-)
To Mr. Lucas Brice - because you say you are conservative, does not mean anything. Spouting insults and name calling say more about your character. You don't offer an alternative - that points to you as the idiot. Give Ideas, suggestions and alternatives, or don't comment - Momma always told you, if you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
And if I boycott a California company, does not mean I go without. I can spend my same money on substitute products, and keep others employed, in other states.
To Robert:
By boycotting a company and putting people out of work (or prolonging unemployment)in a state that already has high unemployment, you'd only demonstrate that you are a simpleton.
To Rick Sammons:
You're just plain dumb, but that's ok, because only a small percentage of the population is intelligent. But it hurts to see Conservatives showing they can be just as dumb as Liberals. The CA politicians are grandstanding. They don't have any power to do anything except open their traps. I don't have to suggest a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Take your righteous indignation and use it to help a Conservative get elected instead of running around like a chicken with your head cut off. If you want to boycott CA businesses, go ahead. It will be you and five others.
Boycott the California Companies against SB1070 and they may lay people off, but the Companies which are not against SB1070 will then hire them.
Illegal aliens are a direct threat to me and my family!
Lucas,
Is it illegal immigration you don't give a damn about or the people of Arizona?
Your state government (presumably, you live in California) is coordinating a massive and organized attack on the economy of Arizona for wanting immigrants to follow rules.
If you don't want your state to suffer, contact your state government and its business leaders and tell them to back the hell off.
When California puts down its torches, pitchforks and calls off the economic lynching, it will have nothing to worry about.
I am a native CA resident. I am very proud of what the Gov. of AZ has done, and I support her 100%. I believe that spending your money in AZ by taking vacations there is the way to show support. Boycotting all of CA companies is not a positive approach. You would be hurting those of us that live here and are already facing a damaged economy. I would support a similar law on illegal immigration here in my state. We tried a few years ago, but the courts threw it out.
Beggars can't be choosers! The way it looks to me is California is the beggar right now! This bankrupted, beggar state isn't in any position to bully Arizona or anyone else!
Boycott MEXICO-- NO CINCO DE MAYO--if they want independence celebrated, they can celebrate it in their country-NOT OURS!
GET OUT ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIENS. SHOO!
Im onboard with boycotting Cali companies
Mr. Moon, as a very proud citizen of Arizona, I thank you for your support for our state. It's not racism which inspired this law; it's the ever-increasing violence along our southern border that demanded our attention. In an ideal world, the feds would accept and fulfill their responsibility to secure and protect our border, but they have refused repeatedly over the years to do so -- starting with Clinton, thru Bush, and now with Obama. In the mean time, more and more people are being victimized by the Mexican coyotes, gangs, and drug cartels; and their first victims are their fellow Hispanics. I hope you will take your research a bit further, and write about the many, many Hispanic migrants who are raped, killed, beaten, and kidnapped by their Mexican Coyotes. Sadly, too many Americans don't care, but I really don't understand how the illegals who have made it here safely can be so selfish and indifferent to their less fortunate brethren.
I live in CA and I support Arizona and wish this will catch on. Are these companies specifically boycotting AZ? I only want to specifically boycott companies that are boycotting Arizona.
Within six months most of the illegals will be gone out of Arizona and move to California, San Francisco or to safe states.
Maybe go back to their home country.
Great article, as usual, Mr. Moon.
Interesting how these people protest! Looks pretty violent to me. From what you liberals say, these all must be right wing extremists! Only thing is- they AREN'T. Too bad they don't put videos of liberal protests and conservative ones side by side. Tea Partiers don't throw rocks and bottles and they leave the place clean. And too bad the patriotic songs sung are considered violent. That's all we sing. What you see in liberal protests are the kind of "community organizing" that the President taught in Illinois. Look up Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. See what the President endorses there.
Nice read, think you...
I have to wonder what your screening methods were for these companies. Some of these companies are conservative owned....can you speak specifically to Del Monte? Dole? some of these companies are just victims of location. That does NOT make them Liberal. Please Screen better before asking someone to hurt someone else. I believe in dollar voting, but SPECIFIC, TARGETED, STRATEGIC action is what is effective. So if you intend to do this please update your list to only be LIBERAL owned businesses....otherwise...don't waste the poste!
Great piece! I'm printing this right now. We have to take this seriously. In addition, all Facebook users, please join us as well....AMERICANS BOYCOTT SHAKIRA.....on her CNN interview, she completely misconstrued the AZ law and now Ricky Martin is chiming in and I am just waiting for George blowhard Lopez as well. Let's stick together and show them that Grassroots Power is greater than Hollywood Power! Boycott Shakira today and tell your friends!
Ultimately predatory banking is the cause of the wave of illegal immigration to the USA. You won't stop it by detaining and deporting a few immigrants back to Mexico. You can stop it by disbanding the likes of Goldman Sachs and granting loan forgiveness (since the loans were fraudulent) to Mexico and let them resume with their economy.
This problem was created by the same people that bought you the housing meltdown and we should focus on the root of the problem not the symptom.
Google: "THE TEQUILA TRAP: THE REAL STORY BEHIND THE ILLEGAL ALIEN INVASION"
``who actually work for a living and care about their country.''
By going after immigrants you've proved yourselves foolish, ineffective and not focused on the real issues. Where's the outrage that the Federal Reserve gave away TRILLIONS of yours and your childrens future earnings to off shore central banks? There's a fraud 1,000,000 times greater than any illegal immigrant "parasite" can ever hope to achieve.
Truth is, immigrants come to this country and work for meager pittance since the international bankers destroyed their means of sustaining themselves. They are not here by choice more than necessity. All these stories of welfare are overblown since they shack up 10, 20 0r 30 in a room to share expenses. The more Americans delay in reigning in the real criminals the more immigration you will have.
Direct your priorities and efforts where they belong, on predatory financial firms like Goldman and Morgan Stanley that ruined the Mexican economy.
NO one is going after the "immigrants". There is a huge difference between "immigrants" and "illegals" .
Immigrants are U.S. citizens.
"Illegals" are criminals. The media has confused this issue trying to incite a race war. What a shame to cause hostility where there was NONE.
Lets support Arizona and buy the products that will help that state. Lets boycott Products that are made in California. That
is the only way to make these lefties feel the impact of what they are doing! Send Obama back to Kenya where he was born!!!
Yes.. we need to support AZ in any way we can. I'm tired of liberals.. their social agenda...and their tax and handout way of life!!!! The only reason they take up what they call human rights issues... is because so many of them seem to be morally corrrupt. I think it makes them feel better about themselves or something... but..nevertheless.. their logic is so flawed... We need to enforce legal immigration... and stop rolling out the red carpet.
I'm from Texas and I support Arizona 100% in fact my husband and i are going to AZ for vacation........ go go AZ
We got the Nazi's out in WWI, did it again in WWII (and Japan) North K out of South...Sadam out of Kiwait. But we cant get these illegals out of the USA? Sounds to me like the liberals want to keep them here, give them the path to become and hope that they will then vote for them.
The people who came to the U.S. illegally ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS. THEY ARE LAWBREAKERS!!!!
Plain and simple.
Deport them...and the Acting President along with them!!!
I SUPPORT THE AZ. law 100%. Because it is the law. The Mayor of LA. Is behind this boycott of AZ. Because he is for his people, MEXICAN...
Arizona Rocks !
we live in Mass and will boycott the boycotters !
A tip to Arizona, when the refinery comes on line put a ten cents tax per gallon when it leaves the refinery for everybody. Then reduce the state gas tax ten cents at thye pump. Let California pay up.......
call it a polluters tax or a cap and trade tax......screw-em
I want to move my family and business to Arizona!
Put a "transmission fee" on the lines carrying 1/3 of CA electricity out of AZ that equals the amount of money these boycotters "estimate" they will cost Arizona.
I too live in San Diego I and my family support Arizona and there goal I wish only the folks here would feel the same way perhaps if they actually "READ" the bill they would but perhaps they cant read like Napalatano or holder !
Black Supporter of Arizona and The Tea Party. In A Time of Emergency all differences have to be put aside. But all including Red people, true Native Americans Must push back at this intentional Plague of Chaos that has been released. And who care if Some Companies are Conservatives. The Republican Party Support Corporations who hire these illegals. THE CONSTITUTION FIRST. THAT IS ALL PEOPLE SHOULD THINK ABOUT. IF REPUGS, OR DEMONS ARE NOT FOLLOWING the Constiutiton including the Black, Asian, and Hispanic Caucaus. They must be charged with Treason and removed for office, and their Pensions revoked for Breach of Constitutional Oath. And these Stench of the Bench Judges who think they are god All mighty. They ARE NOT ABOVE THE CONSTITUTION, AND if the Breach on American Soil to serve those who violated Article 4 Section 4 of the Constituiton they took an Oath on. Then the Constiutiton provides no lifetime appointments for Treasonists Judges. CITIZENS GRAND JURIES IN EVER STATE !
Just bought a $1280 bicycle from Arizona bike shop to support the state. I live in CA and have had it, if I were to do something illegal I would go to jail. The shipping was less than CA sales tax (that supports the bi-lingual bs in my sons school).
Toyota has huge plants in Texas and boycotting them would hurt Texas. Please consider removing them from your california boycott. Toyota has also sponsored the basketball stadium in Houston and has a plant in San Antonio.
I am from Indio Ca. and I support this bill... hey I think California wants a boycott why don't they give up the Power Az.provides as well as the water from the Colorado river that keeps us green here, they won't because it is all false crap so others will think Ca. is a warm and greeting state which is not true!
If you can, check out this website: www.buycottarizona.com
Nestor says, "Ultimately predatory banking is the cause of the wave of illegal immigration to the USA". I agree, but we are being attacked on several fronts. We can't just fight the main cause without going after secondary issues. The illegals are murdering innocent people, who might have been the ones who would save your life someday. How many of those murdered might have been the ones to bring the "predatory" bankers to their knees?
