As you crunch through the snow in Compadre's parking lot, you spot the sign in the window promising the "best margaritas in town," and your choice of drink is already made. The margaritas here are good, and they aren't overpriced, so you're not prepared to quibble the claim to being the best in town, besides that research will have to wait for another day.
You open the door and the warm atmosphere of a bustling cantina greets you. The place is not overly busy, and your server promptly seats you in one of the large Oak booths around the side, or the tables in the middle of the restaurant.
The menu offers a wide selection of ample Mexican fare, and in addition to the margaritas, a wide selection of beers and wines from it's full bar. The fajitas there are particularly good and served generously. Or if you are in the mood, visit them on 'Taco Tuesday' for .99 cent tacos. Hard to go wrong there.
The wait staff at Compadres is friendly and accommodating further enhancing your dining experience. They keep you well supplied, without hovering over you annoyingly.
Treat yourself to some fine food and the "best margarita" in town and visit Compadres soon!
