The 3rd Annual CSA Expo will take place March 15th, 2013. The event is located at the Arlington Hts Memorial Library located at 500 N. Dunton ave. , Arlington Hts., IL and starts at 6:30pm running up until 9:00pm. This event is sponsored by the NW Cook County chapter of the Weston Price Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to America, through diet, education, and research.
Over 28 local farmers come out with foods that are nutrient-dense. Things to look forward to include: sample tastings, meeting farmers, listening to speakers on CSA, nutritionalists, and silent auctions. This event is free to the public and encourages the whole family. All family members will enjoy this event, kids corner has a playing area with teaching staff.
