Community Music Center will offer a second chance to listen to Stefan Jackiw

This past Sunday, when I was reviewing the options for the second weekend in April, I observed that each of those options would be given only a single performance. I am now happy to announce that, thanks to the Community Music Center (CMC), there will be one exception to that claim. Violinist Stefan Jackiw, who will be making his San Francisco recital debut on Sunday afternoon, April 13, in the San Francisco Performances Virtuosi Series, will precede that performance with a CMC Concert with Conversation event. This will be the final program in this CMC series for the 2013–2014 season. In this combination of a concert preview and a Q&A engagement with the audience, Jackiw will be joined by his accompanist, pianist Anna Polonsky.

As usual, this Concert with Conversation will begin at 6 p.m., taking place on Friday, April 11. It will be held in the CMC Capp Street Concert Hall at 544 Capp Street in the Mission. Further information is available on an event page at the CMC Web site.
