Some times God's people reach out to those in the wake of a Tornado or take the gospel to Africa. At other times they just cook up a meal so you don't have to. Some times the ministry is right here at home.

The Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Burns Flat, Oklahoma announced today that the Community Meal Scheduled for Saturday, 31 May 2014 is also the sign up for Chewy Tuesdays and the pickup time for Pop Tarts and Peanut Butter.

The meal begins at 11:00 a.m. and continues to 6:00 p.m. The menu is a potato bar with an alternative of hog dogs and chips. It is a simple meal but one that families don’t have to cook themselves and it is a reason to sign up for the other two summer programs.

There is no charge for this meal.

Earlier this year the Cumberland Presbyterian Church voted to adopt the community Easter Egg Hunt. You may have also seen members of this body walking the streets of Burns Flat earlier this month in the Walk A Block for Jesus.
