Community events are fun, creative, & friendly

Baltimore Inner Harbor

Throughout Baltimore, on any given weekend, you'll can find an event going on in almost any community. Wikepedia defines community as a group of people interacting based on common beliefs, preferences, needs & risks. But, in our metropolitan area, if you just show up, you're sure to be pleased with the people, wares, & attractions at any of these local events.

If you're a little adventurous & don't mind exploring some of our surrounding counties, with the beautiful hills & natural spaces, check out Smithsburg, MD, which hosts the popular annual Steam & Craft Show and the Smithsburg Pride Days.

Also in 'gorgeous land country', MD, Linganore Wine Cellars will be continuing its monthly music festival. If you're a Jazz enthusiast, stop by in August to hear some sweet sounds while sipping on some sweetly fermented grapes. You are sure to be pleased to no end.

For all you urban dwellers, on Saturdays, there's still the Waverly/32nd Street Farmer's Market, where you can buy your fresh fruits & vegetables, as well as other goodies. It's in walking distance or on the public transit line. The food is locally grown & there's even some non-edible shopping available, too.

Last, but not least, a Community Health & Wellness Fair is scheduled for Saturday, 28 Aug 2010, in the Hamilton/Sinclair Lane area. For-Profit, Non-Profit, & Food Service Vendors are welcomed. Registration information can be found at  This is an economical way to get out your name, your services & your products, too.

Take care, stay cool, & enjoy the rest of your Summer.
