The New York City Department of Homeless Services, is in need of a Community Coordinator in the Path/Intake Unit. The starting salary is $45,615.00 to $70,810.00 annually. There is only one position available and the work location will be at 151 East 151st, Bronx, New York 10451. The work week is Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The job ID number is 143229 and the job will be posted until February 18, 2014 or until position is filled, whichever comes first.

To be qualified for this position, candidates must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years experience in community work or community centered activities. If you do not have a baccalaureate degree, candidates must have a high school diploma and six years experience in community work or community centered activities.

Some of the duties associated with a Community Coordinator but not limited to are; supervising community assistants, support fire safety directors and ensure timely and complete submission of incident reports, time sheets and work orders.
