The 5th annual Community Action Marin Dream Home raffle will officially start on Thursday, September 1, 2011. This highly anticipated annual event raffles off a beautiful $2 million dream house located in Marin County or $1.5 million in cash. There are also over $300,000 in additional cash prizes entrants can win. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales directly benefit Community Action Marin which supports individuals, families and children in need.
Gail Theller, Executive Director of CAM since 1978: “This is about much more than a raffle prize. It is an opportunity for us to help our neighbors without increasing taxes or being a burden on our current state economy . . . and having provided services to thousands in our most vulnerable populations as the result of the raffle, not to mention the 6 million dollars we’ve put back into our economy in prize money, we’ve been successful at doing just that.”
