The Communist Party USA is openly supporting Democrats in the midterm elections.
More than that, if the CPUSA website is correct, they are actively collaborating with the Democratic National Committee and other groups such as the AFL-CIO, and the President's own group Organizing for America.
One must ask, why is the Democratic Party so close to a political organization that seeks the destruction of America's capitalist system?
What does this say about candidates who refuse to repudiate this collaboration?
Remember, Communism is the system that rules in Cuba, and Communists reigned in the former Soviet Union for some 70 years. Communism has failed whenever it has been tried, and millions have died under Communist rule.
Do Communists and modern Democrats have that much in common?
Consider: During the 2008 campaign, Barack Obama expressed a desire to "spread the wealth" and spoke openly of redistribution of wealth - a central theme of Marxist/Communist dogma.
Much of what the Democrats have done in recent years could easily be seen as redistributive and takes freedom away from individuals, while empowering the state with new powers over American's lives.
Communism is a form of government that seeks to destroy freedom, and is the enemy of free-market capitalism.
Voters need to remember on Tuesday, and reject the ideology of those who want to destroy the nation's economy and transform it into a socialist/Communist "utopia".
