Before you decide to give your canine companion food from your own plate, think about the many chances of maybe poisoning your dog. Some may not know this already, but plenty of what we eat should not be given to your canine as it may be poisonous. Listed are some common foods that can be fatal to your pal.

Consumption of onions and garlic by a canine can cause hypoxia, in other words damage to red blood cells. The lack of red blood cells may lead to symptoms of anemia such as vomiting, dizziness, lack of energy, and loss of appetite.

Macadamia nuts should not be given to your dog as it is fatal to their health. According to WebMD, either six or more pieces of macadamia nuts can make a dog ill. Symptoms include muscle tremors, vomiting, rapid heart rate, and weakness as well as paralysis of the hindquarters.

Raw eggs should never be given to your canine. According to Dog and Cat Experts, raw eggs prevent the absorption of vitamin B which may lead to skin irritations. Vomiting may also be induced if eggs are consumed by your dog.
