Having spent his life in scientific pursuits, astrophysics, etc., Stephen Hawking seems to be operating from a mindset common to people on this planet who immerse themselves in a mechanistic and materialistic worldview that stems from our history and prehistory on Earth – that the strong or technologically superior always invade, conquer, rape, pillage, kill and dominate the weaker, or less technologically superior.

Advanced species of extraterrestrials it would seem to me would have at the very least mastered some of the same spiritual principles in use on our own world, such as the Tibetan and Zen Buddhists, Taoists, the Hindus and their Sanskrit texts, Sufi mysticism and other enlightened beings and masters from both the Eastern and Western hemispheres of our world.  And having thousands to millions of years of evolution on us, I would expect a good number of them to have far surpassed even what spiritual masters on this planet have realized. 

People steeped and indoctrinated in Western thinking, which we are discovering the errors of in a big way on our world – environmentally, socially, politically and economically – have traditionally excluded spirituality except for mainly the Christian religions, which are often materialistic and rely on people accepting outer voices of authority to tell them “the Truth” on a religious level, and discouraging to damning those who follow their own inner-based spirituality.  [I add an exception here, as this is not meant to be an attack on all Christians. There are many fine people who are Christians and are inspired to be better people because they are. I'm well aware there are also inner-focused branches of Christian mysticism. When Christianity was adopted – and restructured – by Rome, it began to change. Somehow, Christianity got twisted from the gentle commandment of Jesus that we love each other, to an attitude of kill those who violate the various interpretations of scripture, who don't believe in Jesus or the Way - the one true faith - a divisive attitude of “if you're not for us, you're against us.” A tragic perversion of a teaching of love that could have changed the world much earlier on, if embraced by many.] This tainted Christian-based thinking has been used as an excuse to exploit and destroy our natural resources, wage wars and kill people who don't believe as the Christians.  It has led our world to the edge of environmental disaster, systematically destroying the Earth’s ecology.

Ecology is not a principle that has any meaning at all if it begins and ends with the Earth's ecosphere. Ecology must extend out into the galaxy, the universe itself to have any meaning at all.  As quantum scientists have discovered in their laboratories, and as spiritual masters have known throughout time on our own world, everything is interconnected. Extraterrestrials must know this, and while I'm not saying all ETs have overcome their conquering or exploiting ways, I do feel that most have to have a good grasp to an excellent mastery of ideas of sustainability and symbiosis, interconnectedness and sacredness of all forms of life as expressions of the original Source.  As all forms of life are expressions of the original Source, then all forms of life in expression have a right to exist, to continue enriching original Source with their infinite varieties of experiences and perspectives.  Highly evolved extraterrestrials, creating faster than light travel or folding space types of travel, mastering the principles of infinite interconnectedness in practical application, that are both scientific and spiritual in equal measure, would have to have come to a total understanding of the sacredness of all life, and do their best to be sure that life is allowed to continue, to grow, to expand and evolve – and this also means evolution on multi-dimensional levels, not just on 3D ones.

If Hawking has truly made such a statement, then he has fallen into the trap that so many intellectuals on this planet have, a perspective that ignores a spiritual universe, the multi-dimensional reality, and evidence of such on our own planet in the many spiritual masters that have walked among us here, and taught us such.  And taught us such long before quantum science came along and provided a beginning scientific model for how interconnectivity works and expresses itself. And this branch of science is still in its infancy here, less than 100 years old.  Again, I point out how many more thousands or millions of years of evolution and coming into a full understanding of the spiritual-scientific principles of a multi-dimensional universe do extraterrestrials have on Earth humanity?  We can only imagine.

Deep down in the space between the electrons, protons and neutrons of the molecules of my own body, where my consciousness and the consciousness of Source Creator dwell and combine as one, I know that we live in a conscious universe. If I can know this, as so many others devoted equally to spiritual practice and scientific exploration, then I can also imagine with confidence that extraterrestrials also aspire to the highest multi-dimensional knowledge possible, with a head start on humanity of thousands to millions of years. I know this from my own spiritual practice over the years. I cannot transmit that knowledge to another person, but can only attempt verbal descriptions that might inspire an individual to undertake their own spiritual quest.

If I am projecting my own inner seeking, experience, knowing and research onto extraterrestrials, then I am no more guilty of any wrong-doing than those who project humanity’s own darker impulses onto extraterrestrials, of lust for power, conquest and control of people and resources at any cost.

“At any cost” translates to the kinds of things certain groups of people within the government-military-corporate complex have been doing behind the wall of secrecy that exists within our government, from coercion and death threats to people and their families to keep the secrecy intact, to the mind control programs that victimize people, many such mind control abuses starting in early childhood. If secrecy originally created to protect “National Security” is perpetrating such abuse on citizens and our children, then we must ask ourselves whose “security” is being “protected” – or has the wall of secrecy for reasons of national security become instead a protection for criminals to operate for their own interests beyond the law and without checks and balances or prosecution.

Stephen Hawking is only a man with an opinion, after all, despite all his years of education, focus and discipline in astrophysics. His atheistic beliefs apparently caused the rift and dissolution of his first marriage, from this book review: “Stephen Hawking: The closed mind of a dogmatic atheist” in covering a book by his first wife, Jane Hawking, “Music to Move the Stars”.

There is a word I learned from an essay I read in college, consilience.  It is from a book by Edward O. Wilson using the same word as the title, and he uses it to describe a “unity of knowledge”.  We need to earnestly look across many disciplines and philosophies of knowledge that the people of this planet encompass from over the ages to truly and as fully as possible assess the many dimensions of extraterrestrial contact - from government-military-corporate cover-ups and subsequent criminality, to the abductee/contactee phenomenon, to spirituality and the implications of quantum mechanics - a science of which I have no doubt that most extraterrestrial groups have an absolute working mastery of.  This type of "unity of knowledge must also include the kinds of deep spirituality of masters of the East who have had a deep grasp of what we now call quantum mechanics before such nomenclature was applied to it in laboratories.  It never ceases to amaze me how individuals out there in the world show their ignorance by offering their myopic views from one particular perspective related to their area of expertise and people seizing on such statements as the "last word" in what "should" be taken as some kind of gospel - whether of science or religion.

Dr. Hawking suggests we avoid contact.  However, as multitudes of serious researchers in the field of UFOlogy and exopolitics know, contact of various kinds is already taking place, from the testimony of abductee and contactee experiencers and the researchers who work with them, such as the late John E. Mack, Mary Rodwell and Barbara Lamb and many others. 

The hope of being ignored by extraterrestrials has long ago turned to the same dust mingling in the archeological records that indicate extraterrestrial contact in humanity’s antiquity. If we wanted to escape extraterrestrial attention we should never have developed nuclear weapons or power plants. Research and testimony clearly indicates a surge in extraterrestrial interest in humanity with the development of splitting the atom. In addition, experiencer research indicates, across a very broad spectrum of thousands of individuals, possibly millions, that certain groups of extraterrestrials called Greys or Zeta Riticulans, picking up humans for study, alleged hybridization of their species with ours, and various modes of communications with perhaps millions of human beings across the world.

Extraterrestrials are real, there are many different species of them, and they are engaging Earth humanity in a variety of ways. Contact IS taking place, it never could be avoided, and full open public contact is inevitable, just a matter of time until it occurs.
