BioWare is resurrecting one of the classic real-time strategy franchises with Command & Conquer: Generals 2. The debut trailer was released at the Spike VGAs on Saturday night along with news that it is powered by the same game engine responsible for Battlefield 3.
Electronic Arts is obviously leveraging the Frostbite 2 engine in as many titles from its library as possible and Command & Conquer is the next on the block. The game will release sometime in 2013 and, if those are the in-game graphics, should be one of the best looking and sounding real-time strategy games around.
