Milo & Olive is located on Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica and offers up cozy dining (only 26 seats and 2 communal tables) for sitting-in and watching the kitchen roast vegetables, braise meats, and simmer sauces, or pick up and take away any of the menu items.
The Bakery portion of the place will open this Friday, November 18 at 7am and serve up café style breakfast items such as Free Range Frittatas with Weiser Farms Potatoes and Gioia Ricotta, Homemade Bagels, Pastries, Loaf Breads till 11am (after 11am, you can order bakery items to go only) .
After 11am, the Pizzeria will fire up their oven for a wide-variety of wood-fired pizzas, farmers’ market-inspired salads, and small plates every day till 11pm. Chef Evan Funke will officially open for lunch and dinner on Thursday, December 1 and offer such specials as: Wood Oven Roasted McGrath Family Farm Pumpkin with Brown Butter & Wildflower Honey, Local Fried Squid with Crispy Lemons & Calabrian Chilis, Pizza with House Made Sausage and Braised Bitter Greens and much more.
