Today on April 7, Heroes Landing comic shop owner Todd Merrick celebrated his birthday by giving a 20% discount off everything in his store. Merrick is a merchant at the friendly neighborhood comic shop and business has been prosperous.
Merrick has been in business since the doors opened in September 2009 and at the time had a very select few items of merchandise available Since that time, the business prospered and next year will be moving near Epic Theaters in Clermont to allow for about 600 more square footage for patrons and frequent gamers.
Merrick mentioned that by having it closer to the theaters it would raise awareness to movie patrons of the existence of his already prospering business.
His favorite line of comics as of late is "Before Watchmen", "The Justice League of America", and the "X-Men" series. Merrick said he still has catching up to do on some of the series.
