At Comic-Con 2009, which is from tomorrow July 23rd to Sunday July 26th, SCEA will present three booths dedicated to some of their most cherished titles, God of War III, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and Uncharted 2.
For the very first time, players will be able to try God of War III based on the code from the E3 presentation demo. As a bonus, there will be two tie-in features available to attendees. The booth will sign a new double sided poster from the new God of War comic book series by Marv Wolfman, Kevin Sharpe, and Andy Park. Also, United Cutlery has partnered up to create a full scale replica of the Blades of Chaos, the primary weapon of the game's protagonist, Kratos. These game tie-ins sure are not what they used to be. First came the Halo 3 helmet, next coming up are the Modern Warfare 2 night vision gogglesthat actually work.

Insomniac Games will present Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time and will have its own panel for discussion of behind the scenes development, new trailers, and footage. The booth should give a glimpse into the fine details of the game now that its presence is well known. A life sized replica of a weapon created through a competition in April will also be publicly displayed for the first time, as well as becoming a featured weapon in the game. Great, how many life sized replicas are there now?

Last, but certainly not least, there will also be a booth for Uncharted 2. There will be new game play footage, a chance to meet the charming cast of voice actors, as well as a discussion about the new game engine that powers those epic visuals. Plus there has to be another tie-in: Nathan Drake vinyl toys, which are much less serious memorabilia, yet much more reasonable to take home.
