Comic book creators and talent coming to Denver Comic Con 2013 (Video)

The second annual Denver Comic Con is only months away. Many Denver area fans are counting down the days until they can celebrate their love of comic books and science fiction with thousands of their closest friends. Taking place at the Colorado Convention Center from May 31 – June 2, comic books artists, creators, writers and publishers from all over the world will be under one roof. The comic book community will be represented at the convention by a prestigious list of guests attending this year’s event.

George Perez

One of the industry’s most celebrated artists, George Perez is a writer, penciller and inker. During his amazing career he has worked for both Marvel and DC Comics. Beginning his career in 1973, Perez has worked on “The Avengers”, “Fantastic Four”, “The New Titans”, “Crisis on Infinite Earths”, “Justice League of America”, “Wonder Woman” and “Infinity Gauntlet”.

J.K. Woodward

An amazing artist, J.K. Woodward is also and penciller, inker and colorist. His work has included “Fallen Angel”, “Belladonna” and “Fall of Cthulhu”. Recently he was involved in the groundbreaking “Star Trek: The Next Generation/ Doctor Who: Assimilation 2” through his breathtaking panted art.

Jim Steranko

Silver Age comic legend, Jim Steranko, is well known for his amazing work on “Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D”. A writer, artist and publisher, Steranko worked with other legends such as Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. In 1973, he became the founding editor of Marvel’s official fan magazine, “FOOM”. In addition to his work in comic books, he was a conceptual artist for “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. Jim Steranko has been inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.

Stan Lee

Stan “The Man” Lee is considered one of the most important men in comic book history. As a creator/ co-creator of many of the most beloved comic book characters, Lee has become royalty among fandom. Collaborating with other comic book greats such as Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he was involved with creating or co-creating “Spiderman”, “The Hulk”, “The X-Men”, “The Fantastic Four”, “Thor”, “Iron Man” and many other amazing characters. Stan Lee will be appearing at Denver Comic Con on Sunday.
