It just came to my attention that Comet Pan-STARRS should be visible in the Northern Hemisphere starting today March 8. Look after sunset near the horizon. If you have binoculars keep them close at hand for a better look. However you should be able to see it with the naked eye. The comet will pass closest to the Sun on March 10 then be visible again on March 12-13 not far from the crescent Moon. For more information read the article on the CNN site. Comets don’t have any real astrological influence but it’s fun to look out for them, along with meteor showers and such. Now let’s hope that the snow coming down on Oakland, Bergen County today finishes its business in the next few hours! We want crystal clear skies for the next several nights for a good show!
Coming soon just in time for spring… Stone House Nursery in Wyckoff, Bergen County! More information to come!
