Comedian Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald of Animal Planet’s “Emergency Vets” will crack up Kirkland on July 9 with a show to benefit MEOW Cat Rescue and Adoption.
Aside from “Emergency Vets,” Fitzgerald has made many television appearances -- most recently, he was on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” He also hosts a weekly segment on CW2’s morning news show, “Animal House.” You also may have heard him on radio shows such as “The Howard Stern Show.”
The evening of hilarious stand-up comedy will start at 8:30 PM at Laughs Comedy Spot, 12099 124th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034. Tickets are $20 and can be bought at the door starting an hour before show time, by phone at (425) 823-6306, or online at ticketweb.com.
A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit MEOW Rescue and Adoption of Kirkland. MEOW is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that opened in 1997. MEOW places approximately 1,500 animals into permanent homes each year and believes that the welfare of the animals is paramount in the placement process. What a good cause!
