Comedy-jazz show to feature Liz Miele, Robert Jospe

The national Comedy with a Taste of Jazz series returns to Charlottesville on July 26, 2014 from 8:00-10:00 pm, main stage at the V. Earl Dickinson Building at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Doors open at 7:30 pm.

Comedian Liz Miele of the Conan O'Brien Show, Jon Stewart Show, and Comedy Central, will headline the show along with the Robert Jospe Experience.

Liz Miele has performed stand-up on national programs and has toured the country as well as overseas. She has shared the stage with many of today's top comedians and has made it difficult for the best to follow her. Her range of comedy is very wide and has brilliant material for any audience. Although this show is targeting adults, the content should not be raunchy or vulgar.

Robert Jospe has been pegged as one of the best drummers on the East Coast. His trio hits hard and delivers a jazz sound unheard of today. Some have stated that Robert Jospe has the ability to appear magical on stage.

This event is a fundraiser for the Charlottesville-Albemarle Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that provides a safe environment for the lost, abandoned, and homeless animals of Charlottesville and Albemarle County and places them in good homes.

Tickets--$15 for students, seniors, groups of 15 or more and $20 for general admission--are available at Sidetracks Music, Plan 9 Music, or Payne’s Beauty Supply. You can also purchase online at UnitedNationsofComedy.com.
