The new comedy "Identity Theft" had its Los Angeles premiere at the Village Theatre on Feb. 4, 2013, in Westwood, Calif. "Identity Theft" was directed by Seth Gordon and stars Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy and John Cho.
Gracing the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere were Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy, Amanda Peet, Jenna Elfman, Molly Sims, Jon Favreau, Tip 'T.I.'Harris, Kate Flannery, Swoosie Kurtz, Morris Chestnut, Eric Stonestreet, Michael McDonald and many more.
In "Identity Theft," a mild-mannered businessman Sandy Patterson travels from Denver to Miami to confront the deceptively harmless-looking woman who has been living it up after stealing Sandy's identity.
This is the debut of "Identity Theft." It will be released into U.S. theaters on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. It will compete for box office dollars with Soderberg's "Side Effects," and the re-release of "Top Gun" in a 3D version at IMAX locations.
"Identity Theft" is rated R for sexual content and language and has a run-time of 1 hour and 51 minutes.
