The underrated slacker comedy "Workaholics" will be back for Season 3, Comedy Central announced Tuesday (October 25). The show is currently in its second season, airing Tuesdays after "Tosh.0."
The series from Mail Order Comedy's Blake Anderson, Adam Devine and Evanston native Anders Holm has been one of the network's few live-action comedies to find success in the past few years.
"It's such an honor to be able to keep 'Workaholics' going," Kent Alterman, head of original programming and production for Comedy Central, said in a press release. "We feel like the show is one, big public service announcement, teaching the youth of America how to engage with the workplace."
Season 2 of "Workaholics" has averaged 2.1 million total viewers for the first five episodes, consistently outperforming its competitors in the young male demos.
"We're beyond excited to get working on season three," said Anderson, Devine, Holm and director/recurring star Kyle Newacheck. "Unless it's gonna be hard work – we hate work."
The 10-episode second season will conclude on November 22, while Season 3 is expected to air in 2012.
