Comedians Bob Saget and Craig Ferguson discuss their Grammy nominations

This weekend marks the 56th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony, and the award for Best Comedy Album should prove to be a nail-biter as Craig Ferguson, Kathy Griffin, Ron White, Tig Notaro and Bob Saget are all vying for this year’s top spot. Nominated for his 2013 stand up album, That’s What I’m Talking About, Bob Saget recently made an appearance on fellow nominee Craig Ferguson’s late night talk show, where the two discussed how the both learned of their nominations and mulled over their odds of winning.

Ferguson has been nominated for his third stand up album, I’m Here to Help, which was released through New Wave Dynamics – the same label to produce Saget’s nominated special. While both comedians have more than earned their Grammy nods, don’t rule out Notaro as the dark horse in the running to take home the gong with her ground-breaking and truly poignant special, Tig Notaro: Live, in which the comedian laid bare the challenges and fears she’s encountered after being diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer.

The pre-televised Grammy Awards Ceremony is Sunday, January 26 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. PST and can be streamed live at www.grammy.com/live.
