The death of comedian Tim Wilson has the surprised the fans around the country on Thursday. The popular comedian was a staple of the comedy circuit and has been a veteran in country comedy. The talented entertainer was also a musician who co-wrote Jeff Foxworthy’s hit song Redneck 12 Days of Christmas. According to The Comics Comic on Thursday, Tim Wilson died of an apparent heart attack.

Condolences have been pouring in from other comedians since the news of Wilson’s death. Heartfelt messages and shock have been shared along with the fan’s messages of sadness about the news.

Hat off,” tweeted Larry the Cable guy from his official Twitter account late Wednesday night. The comedian went on to say that he wished the news of his friend's death was a rumor, but it was true. Larry's words definitely were appreciated by the fans.

Known as a common fixture on the Bob and Tom Show, Tim Wilson always available to share a good laugh, offer up a great story and maybe even perform a song for the fans only asking for a few honest laughs in return.
