Tracy Morgan is a comedian, actor, author and all around funny guy. You probably know him best from seven seasons on NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning “30 Rock,” appearing with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin. And now you can see Tracy Morgan up close and in person at the Tropicana in May.
Besides his time on “30 Rock,” Tracy did seven years on “Saturday Night Live,” creating unforgettable characters like Astronaut Jones, Brian Fellow’s Safari Planet, Dominican Lou and Uncle Jemima. Tracy also hosted the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. He’s also had his own HBO Special, “Black & Blue.”
Tracy Morgan is also quite the impressionist. He has done hilarious but spot on impressions of folks like Maya Angelou, Cuba Gooding Jr., Tito Jackson, Star Jones, William “The Refrigerator” Perry, Della Reese, Busta Rhymes, Mike Tyson, Mr. T and Reggie White.
The very versatile Tracy is also an author. In 2009, Tracy released his first book, “I Am The New Black,” a compilation of studied anecdotes and some of the more serious moments that shaped him and his career.
So if you want to laugh your socks off, get on down to the Tropicana Showroom on Saturday, May 3. There’s one show at 8 p.m. and tickets are $49.50 and $59.50. Get yours at Ticketmaster online or call 1-800-736-1420. You can also get your tickets at the Tropicana Box Office.
